Lakers Take Care Of Celtics On The Road In Game 3
Just a couple of days ago the Boston Celtics were sitting in the catbird seat. They just won Game 2 on the road in Los Angles and only had to win their remaining home games to be the next NBA Champion. The Los Angeles Lakers had a different idea about all that.
In a relatively low scoring game - 91 to 84 - the Lakers snatched back their home court loss with a win in Boston in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. All scorers were led by Kobe Bryant, who had 29 to go along with his 7 rebounds.
It's a tough loss for the Celtics, who was led by Kevin Garnett's 25 points. Losing Game 3 at home means they not only have to win their remaining home games, but they also have to steal another one out on the Left Coast. They've done it once, so there's no reason to think they can't, but they surely did blow a golden opportunity.
